REMEMBER WHEN
A Musical Fundraiser for Alzheimer's Research
Welcome to Remember When!
Mark your calendar to attend this delightful, original musical designed to help fund important research and build awareness of the power of music in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
Tax-deductible donation to local charity Cure Alzheimer’s Fund can be made at the show. Net proceeds from the show will go to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund and 100% of the donations they receive go directly toward funding promising research.
So why a musical fundraiser? Research has shown that music has a pronounced effect upon the brain, especially for people with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. In fact, for people with Alzheimer’s, listening to music from their early adult years has been shown to stimulate mental activity and effect positive mood changes. Remember When attempts to do just that while empowering people to use music in the treatment of the disease, all the while benefiting important research.
Remember When is a one-woman show that show that follows a young woman on her path to self-discovery and renewal as she takes the audience on a musical adventure using music made popular during her grandmother's past. Remember When was designed with people with Alzheimer’s in mind, but it’s a show that engages everyone in the fight against the disease. Whether you’re young or young at heart, have been directly, indirectly or perhaps not at all affected by Alzheimer’s, love music or just enjoy supporting an important cause, this show is for you!
You’ll not want to miss this exciting event!
